Per scoprire se il proprio ISP limita la banda, in ambienti Gnu/Linux si può utilizzare DiffProbe Shaper Module.
$ wget
$ tar xvf shaperprobe.tgz
$ cd shaperprobe
$ make
$ ./prober
il test dura un paio di minuti, e se tutto è andato bene, si avrà qualcosa di simile.
